Vojvoda Basketball Academy was founded with the vision of working in a different way to improve the basketball skills of the players.

The Academy is founded by:

Dusko Savanovic

A famous Serbian basketball player who left a significant mark by playing for the biggest European clubs and for the senior national team of Serbia.
He played for FMP and Borac, and then he played with big success for European powerhouses such as Bayern Munich, Anadolu Efes, Valencia, Sevilla, Uniks ... He proudly wore the national team jersey at the 2010 World Cup and the 2011 European Championships.

He collaborated with big coaching names, shared the field with the world’s greats, and was remembered as a player who was characterized by an extremely high basketball IQ. He has a rich playing experience that he is ready to share with some new basketball talents.

Aleksandar Zmijanac

One of the main members of the team is Aleksandar Zmijanjac, behind whom are years of work in serious basketball.
He was educated in the United States, after which he gathered valuable experience as a member of the NBA club Indiana Pacers. There he improved his knowledge in the field of sports marketing, collaborated with professional NBA players at the highest world level of basketball, and then returned to share his experience on the domestic scene.

He wants to copy the positive sides of the system of functioning that he met in the USA to basketball academy Vojvoda. He spent a lot of time working with young talents, so his advice could be of great help to anyone just approaching a professional career. He worked for a long time as the director of the youth categories in the Basketball Club Red star, so he is well acquainted with the organization of the biggest clubs in Serbia.
